Notice that we sell Rejex in the full sized 16 oz container, not the smaller (and cheaper) 12 oz bottle. See why thousands of vehicle owners have switched to Rejex. Hit the dirt with a hose and nearly all of it slides off the surface, making the wash effort much easier. Plain and simple, this means that if your paint is already in good condition, and does not need refinishing with abrasive compounds and polishes, Rejex will make the paint smooth, slippery and give you a tremendous depth of shine on your vehicle.Īpply to your wheels, plastics, and painted surfaces to ease the weekly washing. In fact, it was found to resist sand-pitting on helicopter blades in Desert Storm, and was later rolled out for the automotive industry. This space-age technology was originally developed for the aerospace and marine industry, and was sold to the US military for years. There are many great products out there, and many of them work very well (we've tried nearly all of them). If I missed something please let me know so I don't misinform anyone about what products can be layered on top of it.Let's face it, you've tried nearly every wax, polish and sealant for your beautiful vehicle. Again I couldn't find any reason you can't layer a wax on top for more protection and gloss. However they don't want you to layer a wax on top of it, which doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Interestingly they say you can put their product on top of a wax and it will help protect the wax and extend it's life. I certainly could be wrong but I couldn't find any scientific info on their site about why you shouldn't layer a wax on top. They also note their sealant will outlast the wax, which is true of virtually all sealants compared to natural waxes. Most carnauba waxes have to add oils so it's usable by detailers but most don't add polishing particles (chemical or abrasive) as they suggested. In the last quote I copied they stated most waxes contain abrasives or chemical cleaners which is actually not true. I often times think the Wet Diamond looks better than many waxes, but that is just my opinion and it varies based on conditions as well. Certainly you can make an argument that certain sealants look better than waxes. I couldn't find any real science behind it just their belief rejex looks better than a wax. RejeX contains no cleaning agents or micro-abrasives, which are contained in most waxes and all polishes." RejeX (pronounced rejects) is an advanced, ultra-slick coating system developed to give a high gloss finish that seals and protects painted surfaces, glass, metal, gel coat and acrylic. "Why can***8217 t RejeX be used on porous, oxidized paint? To get full longevity out of the product, use RejeX instead of wax." When that occurs, the RejeX protection will wash off with the old wax (since in this case RejeX is bonded to the wax rather than directly to the paint). Apply to your wheels, plastics, and painted surfaces to ease the weekly washing. When RejeX is put on top of wax ***8211 even though RejeX will protect and extend the life of the wax ***8211 eventually the wax will degrade. Plain and simple, this means that if your paint is already in good condition, and does not need refinishing with abrasive compounds and polishes, Rejex will make the paint smooth, slippery and give you a tremendous depth of shine on your vehicle. ![]() Waxes are typically much softer and less durable than RejeX. While RejeX will certainly work over wax and give you the benefits of enhanced gloss, superior protection for your paint and rejection of stains, it***8217 s better to put RejeX right on top of the paint. Abrasive cleaners, polishes, rubbing compounds or chemical paint strippers will remove the RejeX film." If a RejeX-treated surface needs repainting, normal paint preparation is all that***8217 s required. As we***8217 ve already said, RejeX leaves a shinier, longer-lasting finish than wax***8230 and the wax can't adhere well to RejeX! RejeX can be used over existing wax however, the duration of protection will be reduced as the softer underlying wax degrades comparatively quickly. I’ve used it on chrome and honestly, it’s not that great. RejeX has a higher refractive index than waxes, so it produces richer, deeper looking colors and a lustrous long-lasting finish. As great as it is for the car paint job, my favorite uses of Rejex is for the wheels, headlamps and tail lamps. RejeX can be applied in multiple coats, allowing 8 hours curing time between coats for deeper color and greater depth of gloss. "RejeX is not meant to be used on porous surfaces, highly oxidized painted surfaces, or to fill fine scratches. That's interesting I have yet to hear of any product you can not top with a wax.
